Born in Connecticut to the family of Indian heritage. Mann is an abbreviation of her husband's first name Mankad. But, she has both Aarti Mann and Aarti Majumdar for professional names. She began her acting career in minor film and TV parts, however her fame increased in the mid 2000s. Some of her most notable roles include Grey's Anatomy, Suits and Leverage. The actress has also been featured in major commercials featuring brands like Volvo which is an international automobile manufacturer. She lives in Los Angeles where she continues acting as an actress.
