Winona-Ryder

Winona Laura Horowitz, professionally referred to in the media as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents, Winona Ryder's parents, chose her name after the town she grew up in. Michel Horowitz' father was editor and author, as were Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder's mother and father have both been Jewish. Ryder believes herself to being Jewish. Ryder is the youngest sister of Uria as well as half-siblings Jubal & Sunyata. Ryder and her family moved to Mendocino County in California at the age of seven. Ryder was seven. They didn't even have electricity. Ryder was a prolific reader due to the absence of television. Ryder aged 12 was enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. In 1986 she landed her first major-screen appearance in the film Lucas she was only fifteen years old. Ryder had to deal with bullying throughout her teenage years. Ryder hoped her career as an actress would help. But it wasn't to come to pass. But she continued to chase her dreams. In 1988, she got her big break in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued to play successful parts in a variety of films. He was nominated for two Academy Awards were nominated, one of which was for The Age of Innocence (1996).
