Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963, to a musically inclined family in Newark New Jersey is the daughter of the gospel singers Cissy Houston as well as John Russell Houston Jr. She's also the cousin of singer Dionne Warwick. As a young girl, Houston began singing professionally with her church's choir. She sang backing vocals for Chaka Khosn's single from 1978 Im Every Woman with her mom.
