Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963, to a musically inclined family in Newark New Jersey is the daughter of the gospel singers Cissy Houston as well as John Russell Houston Jr. She's also the cousin of singer Dionne Warwick. As a young girl, Houston began singing professionally with her church's choir. She sang backing vocals for Chaka Khosn's single from 1978 Im Every Woman with her mom. After that, she began to perform backing vocals for Lou Rawls and Jermaine as well as her mom. Her work as the lead vocalist in New York funk group Material was noticed by major record companies including Arista who she signed her contract in 1982, where she continued to work for the remainder of her life. Whitney Houston became the top-selling debut album for an artist in the year 1985. The film and her part in it were not very well received, but the soundtrack and her rendition of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You were charting for months on the charts and she sold over 44 million singles and albums all over the world. That same year she married Bobby Brown who was a ex- New Edition singer. She had their only daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown together on March 23, 1993. It was about this time that her widely documented usage of drugs began. By 1996 she was a daily drug user.
Dana Bash (also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz) is a CNN anchorwoman and reporter for the political section of CNN. In the past, she has been the producer of shows on CNN, including Evans & Novak' Late Editionas well as Inside Politics'. Bash is the recipient of numerous awards and honors.
